The access panel to the attic is in a very convenient location on the ceiling of the landing to the bedrooms. We have laid some sturdy wood paneling down in parts of it to be able to store stuff up there. You could fit many, many boxes up there in the area where wood has been lain, plus there's plenty more area to work with.
